The Bloodfast Concordat
The Bloodfast Concordat is a ruthless faction in the world of Gylranor, built upon the belief that conquest is born from weakness. Relentless and merciless, its members hunger endlessly for power. These ideals were instilled by Haraxas, and even more fiercely by his follower Veros the Netherid, shaping one of the most feared orders in all of Gylranor.
The Concordat consists of multiple races and groups: Netherids, Argoms, Orcs, Harpies, Insectoids, Eleimorans, and the Exeri. Within the Exeri are further subgroups—Elves, Dwarves, Neledar, and other beings not of Netherid or Argom bloodlines.
The term “Exeri” comes from the Netheredic language, meaning shield. From the First War of the Netherid, Haraxas learned the value of sacrifice. The Exeri serve as the first line of defense, ensuring Netherid and Argom warriors remain preserved for greater battles. Despite appearances, Orcs, Harpies, Eleimorans, and Insectoids are not part of the Exeri; they maintain their own dominions under the Concordat’s banner.
Determined to surpass his brother Karxas, Haraxas sought unity and strategy. Karxas, driven by ego and impatience, never named his forces…perhaps sealing his failure. Haraxas, wiser and more calculating, empowered his subordinates to carry out the dirtiest tasks while he strategized from his fortress of Nethrinn, deep within Darkwood. For two years after his summoning, he remained unseen, his presence whispered yet unconfirmed, until the time was right.
After the Battle of Lithos, Haraxas continued his conquests in secrecy, understanding that one victory never guarantees another. Nearly a year later, at the Battle of Bren, he unleashed his full power, claiming another devastating victory for the Bloodfast Concordat.
Those seeking to join this dark faction can find Concordat activity along Nell’s Wrethic Coast, where camps once razed by the Hunger Cult now thrive. Though separate from the Concordat, the Hunger Cult shares its thirst for domination and often lends aid to its ambitions.
The symbol of the Bloodfast Concordat is a smeared circle with splashes and a drawn triangle. The circle represents Gylranor and Haraxas’s insatiable desire to conquer it; the splashes signify the blood spilled in pursuit of that conquest; and the triangle marks the territories the Concordat claims as rightfully theirs.
